Seven shops along Vancouver Island’s south coast, from the township of Oak Bay to the beautiful landscapes of Sooke, offer a selection of wares. Each shop showcases work from local artists, offering unique finds worth exploring.
Hi, I’m Katie, the creator of Lochside Pottery. Now based in Sooke, BC, I’ve been playing with clay since the early nineties when we lived on Lochside Drive—where the name was born.
After many adventures and creative detours, I found a calling in functional pottery. I’m most at home in the studio, throwing in endless pursuit of the craft-immersed in the privilege of transforming clay into comfort.
